How work gets defined

A focused process, not a generic course.

Cohort training is not part of the current offering. Each engagement starts with the commercial decision in front of you and a clear written outcome.

01 / Request

State the decision.

Choose a fixed report, or explain your project stage, mushroom focus and the question you need to resolve.

02 / Fit & payment

Confirm the right next step.

We review the request and send payment instructions manually. DPR and custom work begin with the paid fit assessment.

03 / Scope & inputs

Make the work specific.

We confirm the objective, location, product format, available information and the assumptions that need to be tested.

04 / Written output

Receive the agreed work.

Fixed reports follow their published scope. DPR work follows the written scope, agreed target date and stated revision limit.

Why this perspective

Commercially informed. Carefully bounded.

Good Mushroom operates in functional-mushroom sourcing and quality work. That context informs the advisory, but it does not turn an advisory engagement into a buyer guarantee.

What informs our advice

Sourcing, quality and buyer-readiness context.

We bring supplier-screening, COA literacy, quality considerations, buyer-facing requirements and documented market research into a project discussion.

What we will not promise

No shortcuts dressed up as certainty.

We do not promise loan approval, subsidy approval, licences, buyer placement, offtake, crop yield, investment return or profitability outside a written scope.

Frequently asked questions

Make the next step clear before you enquire.

Which service should I start with?

Choose a fixed report when your question fits its published scope: feasibility before committing further, buyer intelligence before commercial outreach, or readiness when you have an existing product or operation to assess. Use the paid qualification call for DPR, custom work or help deciding what fits.

What happens after I send a request?

We review the project context and service fit, then send the appropriate manual payment and intake instructions. For DPR or custom work, the paid qualification call is used to confirm the question, required inputs and written scope before work begins.

What information do you need from me?

Start with your project stage, mushroom focus, location, intended product format and the decision you need to make. Existing growers may also share relevant product, batch, quality or documentation context.

How do delivery and revisions work?

Fixed reports follow their published scope after intake is complete. DPR Lite includes one revision and Standard DPR includes two revisions; the scope, target date and revision boundary are confirmed in writing before DPR work begins.

Can you tell me whether mushroom farming will be profitable?

We cannot guarantee profitability. Species, scale, location, utilities, operating discipline, quality requirements and route to market all affect the result. Feasibility work makes those assumptions and the questions worth testing clearer.

Why does buyer-readiness matter before scaling?

Buyer-facing conversations can involve questions about product format, quality evidence, documentation, packaging, samples and supply consistency. Requirements vary by customer and use case, so readiness work identifies gaps to address rather than promising acceptance.

Do you provide cultivation courses or free consulting calls?

No. Cohort training is not part of the current model, and the qualification call is paid so that a defined project-fit discussion does not become unbounded free consulting.

Can you guarantee a buyer, loan, subsidy or approval?

No. We can explain commercial assumptions, buyer-facing requirements and readiness questions, but we do not guarantee buyer placement, finance, subsidies, licences, crop yield, profitability or other outcomes outside an agreed written scope.

Is the qualification-call fee credited?

Yes. The ₹499 fee is credited against a DPR purchased within seven days of the call.
